Location

The San Bartolomeo Convent complex provides you with a wide range of spaces to use whether you choose an indoor or outdoor service and reception. Outside, large, quiet areas set within the ancient walls offer you attractive options: the breathtaking view from the Belvedere, the historic garden, the secret intimacy of the Cloister.
Indoors elegant rooms can also provide an alternative in case of bad weather, seating 120-150 guests overall, in an atmosphere where they can enjoy the magic and charm of olden times. Again, there is a variety of options to choose from: the Refectory, the Sala dei Santi, the Cellar, and the Salette del Ristoro, which will all be exclusively at your disposal for the day of the event.

Getting married: a religious or civil ceremonies

A few steps away, annexed to the San Bartolomeo Convent, you will find the quiet, simple Church of Saint Francis where both Catholic and Anglican weddings can be celebrated as well as mixed marriages.
The local City Hall has given the Convent the right to celebrate civil weddings (legally binding) which can be organised inside the Convent or in its grounds.

A strict selection of top-quality catering companies or, upon request, a Michelin-starred chef will provide food and beverages on your wedding day.
Upon request a selection of the best available wedding operators will be at your disposal. If you wish, the family vintage car is available to drive the bride to the church. A parking area will be reserved for the family and the closest guests inside the Convent, while a larger public parking area is easily accessible outside the building.
