A series of monocrome frescoes, which can be dated back to the end of the fourteenth century, characterizes the Sala Capitolare, which over looks the Cloister, in an evocative continuum of medieval and Renaissance elements.

With its high stone vaults, the Sala dei Santi has a double view over the Cloister and the Belvedere, and is connected to two spacious adjacent rooms as wellas to the professional kitchen.

Characterized by brick barrel vaults, the Salette del Ristoro housed the friar’skitchens, including it sold stone oven, that nowadaysis still functioning.

The Wine Cellar
Guests are welcomed into the evocative atmosphere of the ancient Cellar, furnished with vintage barrels, by an attractive fresco brought to light during the restoration.
From this room, thirty-three stone steps lead to a cave carved in the volcanic rock with its own little water spring. A constant temperature of 9°C all year round makes it perfect for wine storage, but above all it is the ideal spot for wine tastings, which can be scheduled on request.
